I am a deeply compassionate, creative, and inspired person that enjoys helping others find their way. My natural curiosity led me to study clinical social work and to practice therapy in diverse settings including community mental health clinics, a psychiatric hospital, and in private practice.
As a professor in the graduate social work program at Daemen College I teach master level social workers Mindfulness Based Interventions and Practice with Children and Families. My research focus is prevention of substance misuse and mindfulness-based interventions.
I am also an artist working in all kinds of mediums including painting, drawing, clay, and designing clothing. Keeping a meditation and art practice helps me to maintain a healthy life work balance.
